Layer up for MLK Day, we have one more day in the deep freeze to get through! Expect mostly sunny skies Monday with very cold highs in the low to mid 20s and a single digit, at times subzero wind chill. Areas with lingering snow cover (Bluegrass & northern KY) will stay the coldest. Far southern counties will end up in the upper 20s, pushing freezing in a few spots.

We’ll bounce back to the 40s Tuesday with a midweek rain chance on the rise before the cold clamps down again late in the week.
