January’s wild meteorological mood swings continue with a Tuesday thaw as the wind shifts to the southeast and highs climb into the 40s. Watch for moderate to heavy rain midweek and a quick hit of winter weather to wrap it up Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. A little minor to light accumulation will be possible, especially over our eastern mountain counties.
