FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)- A deputy jailer in Franklin County was arrested after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a female inmate, and it’s not the only investigation surrounding the jail this week.
Brandon Price was arrested Tuesday and charged with sodomy third degree, after the head jailer told police he suspected Price had some type of sexual relationship with an inmate.
On Wednesday morning, a separate investigation launched as well.
Dylan Stratton, a 21-year-old inmate was found dead in the jail. The autopsy results won’t be released for another 12-14 weeks.
Thomas Walker, who served time inside the Franklin County Jail last year, says he knew Dylan Stratton well.
“Everything hits me all at once and sometimes I don’t know what to feel. There are things I just lose track of thought like what was the reason why?” said Walker.
A spokesperson for the jail declined to comment on either incident.
