LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A lot of people in the Bluegrass are breathing easier tonight…and that includes workers and passengers at the Blue Grass Airport.

TSA agents at the Blue Grass Airport haven’t seen a paycheck in quite some time. Today, fliers say they are breathing a sigh of relief knowing the people who work hard to keep them safe are going to get paid.

“I think it’s terrible to have to work without pay. I think those people deserve not to have to come to work without pay. I wouldn’t,” passenger Mark Czarnota told LEX 18.

Overall, most fliers that spoke with us say they didn’t have too many concerns while flying. But they are thankful that the shut down is over.
