LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — University of Kentucky police issued a bulletin Friday night saying a female student had been sexually assaulted inside her dormetory.
Police said the woman knows the alleged attacker, who they said was not a university student.
The suspect was described as standing 5-foot-11 and weighing about 140 pounds.
Along with the alert, police sent tips for preventing sexual assault.
Among the tips:

- Request free “Safe Cats” escort or bus service when traveling across campus after hours.
