The well advertised Arctic front is nosing into our northwestern counties early Wednesday morning. Expect light snow for a few hours with 0.5″ to 1″+ accumulation possible- watch it on the roads. A bitter, subzero wind chill follows as lows crash to the single digits and a gusty W/NW wind continues to crank. A winter weather advisory and a wind chill advisory remain in effect. With all this in mind I’m elevating the LEX 18 Severe Threat index to 1 through the morning commute.
