Dad, Daughter Accused of Incest as Woman Allegedly Competed with Sister to Have Sex with Him

ST. PAUL, Ne. (LEX 18/OMAHA WORLD HERALD) – A father and daughter in Nebraska are facing incest charges after the pair got married, according to local media outlets.

39-year-old Travis Fieldgrove and 21-year-old Samantha Kershner were allegedly involved in a sexual relationship starting in September of 2018.

While court documents obtained by news outlets indicate that Kershner did not grow-up with Fieldgrove and he is not listed on her birth certificate,  DNA tests show there is a 99.999 percent chance Fieldgrove is Kershner’s father.

Kershner allegedly told officers she became aware Fieldgrove was her father about four years before their romantic relationship began.

Both, at different points, have denied he’s her father.

Kershner reportedly told investigators that she wanted to have sex with Fieldgrove because she was in a “jealous competition with her half-sister regarding who could have sex with their father,” according to a court affidavit, obtained by the Omaha World-HeraldABC-NTVand the Lincoln Journal Star.

Documents show the pair got married in court on October 1st in Hastings, Nebraska.

Both Fieldgrove and Kershner are being held in the Hall County Jail with Fieldgrove on $100,000 bail and Kershner on $20,000 bail.
