Traffic Stop Leads To Weapons Charge In Pulaski Co.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Authorities arrested a Somerset man early Sunday morning on weapons charges after a traffic stop.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 31-year-old Tip Miller was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram truck with one malfunctioning headlight about 3:45 a.m. when he was pulled over.

Officials said 911 dispatch advised that Miller was wanted on a complain warrant out of Knox County.

Miller was taken into custody, and a search of the truck turned up 11 guns and ammunition.

On the Knox County warrant, Miller faced charges of organized crime, receiving stole property and possession of a handgun by a felon.

Miller faces additional charges of failure to wear a seatbelt, operating a vehicle with one headlight and possession of a firearm by a felon.
