KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A murder investigation is underway in Knox County after a man was stabbed to death, according to KSP.
Troopers say it happened on Friday night at a home on KY-718 in the Walker community.
KSP officials say based on their preliminary investigation, they believe Charles Davidson of Corbin was inside of the home when he was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife.
Reportedly Davidson was taken to the hospital by two women; one of those women was the homeowner.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
KSP tell us 53-year-old Jeffrey Todd Hammons of London was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Troopers are still investigating what led to the incident.
