PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Pulaski County deputies saved a Somerset man from a flooded roadway on Sunday morning.

It happened just after 10:30 when deputies were called to the intersection of Slate Branch Road and Madera Drive for a partially submerged car.

Sheriff’s office officials say the driver was trapped by several feet of water, so deputies waded into the flooded roadway to rescue him.

The man was treated at the hospital for mild hypothermia.
