MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Firefighters are working a large house fire in Madison County.
WBON-TV reports that a house caught fire in a subdivision on Lexington Road on Sunday evening.
Reportedly multiple fire departments responded including Whitehall, Waco, and Kirksville VFDs and Madison County Fire.
Firefighters were forced to retreat and take a defensive approach due to the nature of the fire, according to WBON-TV, but the blaze is now under control.
So far there’s no word on if anyone was injured or what may have started the fire.
