Stabbing In Scott County Sends 3 To Hospital

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Scott County Deputies are investigating a stabbing that sent three people to the hospital.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, it happened at a home in the 3000 block of Long Lick Pike around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Reportedly one person was flown to the hospital with a life-threatening stab wound to the chest. Two other people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Deputies believe to two people went to the house to confront a young man who lives there. Reportedly everyone involved knew other and there had been some type of ongoing dispute. Deputies say the argument began on social media over something stolen, then deputies believe the people involved met up at the home on Long Lick Road to settle their disagreement when things got out of control.

Deputies say apparently, the incident was caught on camera, and they say that there are several witnesses involved.

The man flown to the hospital is now stable, according to deputies.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and charges may be filed.
