LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened on Kentucky 80 Friday.
The crash happened around 3:27 p.m.
Deputies report that a pickup truck travelling west on Ky 80 crossed the centerline, hitting a tractor-trailer head on.
The tractor-trailer came to a rest in the eastbound lane. The pickup came to a rest in the westbound lane.
The driver of the pickup was identified as 58-year-old Douglas N. Hoskins, of London. He died at the scene.
Gary W. Curry, of London, was the driver of the tractor-trailer. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.
