MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police were investigating a fatal early morning fire at a home in the town of Means.
Authorities said police and emergency crews were called out around 2:10 a.m. to a home on Shannon Street.
Investigators found “an unknown individual” dead inside the home, according to police.
Family members tell us the victim was a 74 year-old man who lived by himself.
The cause of death was not immediately clear, and the fire remains under investigation.
