ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – EMA officials in Estill County are reporting problems with the 911 phone system.
Officials say the 911 phone system is currently down, they’re asking residents to call 606-723-2201 or 606-723-2205 if there is an emergency.
We’re told those calls are being forwarded to Kentucky State Police and they will be able to dispatch help to your location.
No word yet on when the phone system will be restored.
