ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say a teenager died after being shot Saturday night at a home in Lawrenceburg in what may have been an accident.
Authorities said a Franklin County deputy coroner pronounced 19-year-old Kyle York of Lawrenceburg dead at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Officials said Anderson County Sheriff’s deputies were called out about 10:15 p.m. to “a possible accidental shooting” in the 1000 block of Country Estates.
First responders found York suffering life-threatening injuries from an apparent gunshot wound.
KSP said the case remains under investigation.
