WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people were killed Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash in Warren County, officials said on Wednesday morning.
Authorities said 20-year-old Aaron T. Wingfield, of Bowling Green, and 23-year-old Krista Vincent, of Smiths Grove, were killed in the crash.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department said that, according to the results of a preliminary investigation, Wingfield was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus when he crashed just after 4:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Hayes Lodge Road.
Officials said “Wingfield lost control of the vehicle when coming to the top of a hill” and collided with a tree.
Wingfield and Vincent were both pronounced dead at the scene.
