LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – The 25th Annual Mayfest Arts Fair took place in downtown Lexington this weekend.
The festival at Gratz Park features local vendors, musicians, dancers, food and activities for kids.
Laura Farnsworth with the Downtown Lexington Partnerships says this weekend’s overcast weather did not keep crowds away.
She says it’s so important to remind people about all of the arts and music in our area.
“For 25 years we’ve had people drive downtown and just discover new and different things, arts, crafts. but they also find different reasons to come down, bring their families, and celebrate the culture and the arts of Lexington and bluegrass region,” said Farnsworth.
