Investigators Asking For Tips In Bank Robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky, (LEX 18)– Investigators with the Lexington Police Department are asking the public for tips on a bank robbery case that happened on Monday.

Around 9:18 a.m. officers responded to Central Bank on West New Circle Road for a robbery. They said that a masked man entered the bank and demanded money with a handgun.

They say he took cash and fled the scene in a vehicle. The vehicle was later found wrecked near the bank. Police said that the suspect possibly could have fled on foot toward the Hollow Creek area.
