LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Eight people were hurt when a charter bus crashed in Laurel County.
Deputies say it happened before 9:30 on Sunday morning on KY-1193.
Investigators say a charter bus had 21 people on board, most of them minors, when the driver misjudged his turn as he pulled out of a camping site. The bus partially overturned in a ditch.
Deputies report that a ladder had to be used and a window popped out to get everyone off the bus.
8 people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
