Police Continue To Investigate Pair Of Morning Nightclub Shootings

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A pair of shootings at two Lexington bars kept police busy Sunday morning and left three people injured.

The first shooting happened just outside of two keys near uk’s campus around 1:30am..

Police say A man got into an argument with another man, then went to his CAR, RETRIEVED a gun and shot the other man.

OFFICERS SAY THE SUSPECT WAS WEARING A BLUE SHIRT AND HAS DREADLOCKS.

The victim was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

THEN an hour and a half later, police responded to the Fox Club on winchester road. Authorities saY fights had broken out inside and outside OF the club.

While police were there working to break up the disturbance, officials say, shots rang out behind the club near Hillcrest Avenue. Bullets SPRAYED a car and a home in the area, police said, and a woman inside the home was hit by debris.

Authorities said a minor nearby also was hit by a bullet. Both are expected to be OK.

 

So far no reports of any arrests in either case.
