LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A former UK student has entered into a plea deal regarding a false bomb threat made involving the school on social media.

Haily Duvall, of Glasgow, is accused of making a threat that involved the White Hall classroom building in November of last year.

Students at the university, including Duvall herself, sent LEX 18 screenshots of the Snapchats. One said, “White Hall is about to be white ashes along with every *expletive* student in it.” Another said, “Thirsty Thursdays are about become ticking time bomb Thursdays.”

Duvall, 20, was in U.S. District Court in Lexington today for arraignment.  She pleaded guilty to one count of false information regarding explosives.

The remaining 14 charges (three additional counts of false information regarding explosives and 11 counts of threatening communications) will be dismissed.

She will be back in court Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. for sentencing. The maximum sentence for the charge is 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

She will remain free pending sentencing.
