NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The trial for an Alabama man accused of attempted murder in Kentucky has been pushed back, according to the Kentucky Standard.

Earlier in 2019, officials said a Nelson County home was robbed and one person was shot in the head.

State police said troopers began pursuing the speeding suspect's vehicle on the Bluegrass Parkway to Elizabethtown before the car crashed into a Waffle House.

The driver allegedly continued to disobey police until being shot in the leg.

Justin Robert Hardin of Orange Beach, Alabama was arrested and is facing numerous charges.

According to the Kentucky Standard, Hardin's trial has now been set for December.
