LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington pools are closed for the summer, but someone didn't tell that to the dogs!
Hundreds of dogs have taken over the Aquatic Center at Woodland Park on Saturday for the Lexington Humane Society's annual event fittingly titled "Doddie Paddle."
The four-legged friends could swim for up to two hours and registration for their humans was between $10 to $25, depending on what time their human arrived.
All the money raised is going back to the Lexington Humane Society and the animals under their care.
