LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two Laurel County parents are behind bars after deputies said the living conditions in their home were not fit for anyone. Now, the parents are scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

Deputies were called to the home off David Hibbitts Lane near London on Monday.

They said they walked past trash in the driveway that was stacked up to the front door.

Police found more trash inside, including spolied food, and said it was hard to walk around.

Christopher and Brandy Bowling were later arrested and deputies told LEX 18 that they are facing criminal abuse charges because children were in the home.

The four kids, all under the age of 12, were placed with social services.
