BEREA, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Madison County Coroner reports that one man is dead after a three-vehicle crash that happened at the intersection of Old US 25 and Berea Bypass early Monday morning.

According to police, an initial investigation shows that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Old US 25 when the driver disregarded a stop sign at the intersection, colliding with a Nissan Pathfinder. Police say the motorcycle slid across the roadway and collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe, where it came to a rest.

According to police, the roadway was shut down for several hours while investigators were on the scene.
