(LEX 18) — Thousand of customers have lost power after storms with lightning passed through central Kentucky Friday afternoon.
The Kentucky Utilities outage map says about 4,770 customers in Fayette County are without power. 3,028 customers are without power in Scott County. And in Franklin County, 1,027 are without power.
Crews are currently working to restore power.
