LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A child was hit by a vehicle at 7:42 a.m. Thursday on Georgetown Road near Sandersville Road.
Lexington police say a child tried to cross Georgetown Road outside of a legal crossing lane and was struck by a vehicle.
The child was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges will be filed against the driver, according to police.
