Clark County principal pleads not guilty for allegedly owning and sharing child pornography

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Clark County principal arrested for allegedly owning, as well as sharing, child pornography appeared via video arraignment in the Clark County District Court on Wednesday.

The judge entered a not guilty plea and set Wilson's bond at $25,000.

Wilson is a principal at George Rogers Clark High School Area Technology Center according to Kentucky State Police.

Wilson has been charged with 15 counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and 15 counts of possessing or viewing matter portraying sexual performance of a minor.

A spokeswoman for the Kentucky Department of Education told LEX 18 that Wilson is a Department of Education employee, not a Clark County Public Schools employee. She also said that he has been placed on leave while this investigation continues.
