FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — 13 more people have died from COVID-19 in Kentucky.

Gov. Andy Beshear has announced that 745 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Kentucky, bringing the state's COVID-19 case total to 64,158. The positivity rate is 4.57%.

107 of the new cases are among those under the age of 18. 543 Kentuckians are hospitalized, 122 are in the ICU, and 71 are on a ventilator.

The 13 deaths include a 96-year-old woman from Fayette County. Kentucky's coronavirus-related death total is now at to 1,137.

More than 1.3 million COVID-19 tests have been administered across the state.
