LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department has announced the latest COVID-19 numbers.
There are now 313 positive COVID-19 cases in the Lexington-Fayette County area. That is 20 cases higher than Monday.
This number includes 18 new cases involving inmates at the Federal Medical Center. There are now 52 inmates and one staff member infected at the Federal Medical Center.
According to Health Department officials, 66% of cases have been released from isolation and are improving at home.
