FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — During his Monday press conference, Gov. Andy Beshear announced that there are 381 new cases of COVID-19 in the state of Kentucky, bringing the state's COVID-19 case total to 48,396.
Of the 381 new Kentuckians to test positive for COVID-19, 43 are under the age of 18.
"Today's COVID report looks like the last couple of Mondays," Gov. Beshear said. "Based on not all the labs not working on Sundays, we always have lower numbers."
Gov. Beshear also announced three new coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Kentucky's coronavirus-related death total to 933.
