LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announced in a news conference Wednesday that a Jefferson County man has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Fischer said the man was 75 years old and had underlying health conditions. This is the Louisville Metro area's second coronavirus related death.
According to WAVE 3 News, during Mayor Fischer's daily briefing, he said that Jefferson County is now up to 35 COVID-19 cases.
He added that three patients who previously tested positive have now recovered and no longer showing symptoms.
