LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Officials at Lexington's Amazon facility have announced additional confirmed COVID-19 cases. We're told the individuals' last day on site was March 31.

Amazon officials say that the facility undergoes multiple enhanced cleanings during this time.

Amazon is working closely with the CDC, and will inform any co-workers who may have been in close contact with the affected individuals.

We're told that Amazon has taken a number of measures to keep all employees safe and healthy, including mandatory social distancing of 6 feet, with daily audits. Employees are also having their temperatures taken before entering the building. Staggered shifts and extended breaks have also been implemented.
