Fayette County up to 426 cases of COVID-19, 235 recoveries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — As of Tuesday, May 12, Fayette County is up to 426 cases of COVID-19. The 426 cases are 15 more than the 411 that was reported on Monday. There were no coronavirus-related deaths reported in Fayette County, meaning the county's coronavirus-related death total remains at ten.

Out of the 426 individuals in Fayette County to test positive for COVID-19, 235 have made a full recovery.

Over 30% of Fayette County's cases come from the Federal Medical Center. Ten new individuals tested positive from the FMC, bringing the facility's total to 137.
