LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Four inmates at the Federal Medical Center have died from COVID-19.
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says through May 27, there are 673 confirmed cases in Fayette County, an increase of 28 from Wednesday.
This includes 268 cases involving inmates at the Federal Medical Center, up 20 from Wednesday.
There have been 13 total deaths related to COVID-19 in Lexington.
