Gov. Beshear announces 3,558 new COVID-19 cases, 24 deaths

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced Saturday 3,558 new cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky.

Beshear also announced 24 new virus-related deaths, bringing the statewide total to 2,192.

There are 1,711 Kentuckians currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 423 are in intensive care and 199 are on ventilators.

The positivity rate in Kentucky is 8.79%.
