(WAVE) — Kentucky ranks high among states with the most COVID-19 personal bankruptcies.
According to a study by "Money Geek," the rate of filings for personal bankruptcy in Kentucky ranks in the top five states nationwide since the start of the pandemic.
The head of marketing and data analytics at "Money Geek" says the ranking could be due to people having trouble receiving benefits and the underlying economy.
