FRANKFORT, Ky. — Governor Andy Beshear announced that there are 4,074 COVID-19 cases and 208 coronavirus-related deaths in the state of Kentucky.

Sunday's numbers include 202 new cases and 3 new deaths.

Of the 4,074 total cases, there have been 1,511 recoveries.

Governor Beshear and Kentucky Public Health Commissioner Dr. Steven Stack went over Phase I of reopening healthcare business that starts on Monday.Healthcare businesses will begin reopening on Monday.

"You have to meet the guidelines. It doesn't matter if somebody else in your industry can meet them and you can't. If you can't meet the guidelines, you can't reopen," said Beshear.

"I think I mentioned the other day that I got a question that says 'well it says to reopen we have to have ppe and if i can't get it can i still reopen?' The answer is no. This is the challenge in a worldwide health pandemic, that to do these things the private sector is going to have to be able to meet higher standards to make sure we can do this safely," Beshear added.

Those guidelines can be found here.

Governor Beshear also said there will be more major announcements on Monday in relation to more Phase I opportunities for businesses to reopen.
