(LEX 18) — The Kentucky Music Educators Association has voted to cancel the 2020 state marching band competition season.
The 11 to 1 vote happened Thursday.
Responding to the news, some high schools in Kentucky have decided to cancel Summer band camp altogether, keeping the musical outlet alive through other means, such as pep band performances at sporting events.
