LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department has recommended anyone who has worked at Lexington's Federal Medical Center since April 20 to be tested for COVID-19.
Officials say that those people may have been exposed during an outbreak at the facility. They ask that anyone who has worked at the facility during that time to contact the health department via phone by calling 859-899-2222 or email at COVID19@lfchd.org so that they can help identify testing options
According to the health department, there are now 55 cases involving inmates and 1 with a staff member who lives in Fayette County.
