LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington reported 287 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, with 149 Saturday and 138 on Sunday, the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department announced Monday.
There have been 20,673 cases and 143 deaths total since the outbreak began in March.
LFCHD asks residents to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 by following these guidelines:
- Wear a cloth face-covering in public
- Avoid close contact with others
- Wash your hands often
- Stay home if you are sick.
