LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department reported 183 new cases of COVID-19 Monday -- Lexington's second-highest single-day total.
The city reported 1,096 cases in the last week, and 12,651 cases and 102 total deaths since the outbreak began in March.
Four of Lexington's highest single-day case counts have been since Nov. 4.
The highest totals are as follows:
- 236 cases, Nov. 7
- 183 cases, Nov. 9
- 181 cases, Nov. 5
- 167 cases, Sept. 11
- 155 cases, Oct. 30
- 152 cases, Nov. 4
