LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Father Jim Sichko is stepping up to spread hope during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To show appreciation for everyone working on the frontlines, Father Jim is expressing thanks on behalf of Pope Francis, Bishop Stowe, all Papal Missionaries of Mercy and Americans.

Beginning Sunday in the Lexington Herald Leader, then spreading to other newspapers and billboards, messages of appreciation will be dedicated to medical heroes. The first billboard will be on East Euclid in Lexington.

Billboards will also be going up in others states.

“I doubt anyone would disagree,” Fr Jim testifies, “that our Nurses, Doctors, First Responders are our true Missionaries of Mercy!”
