(LEX 18) — Senator Rand Paul says he is now COVID-19 free, two weeks after he was diagnosed.

Senator Paul drew a lot of criticism for not self-quarantining as he waited for test results, leading several lawmakers to quarantine as a precaution.

Tuesday, Senator Paul tweeted an update, saying he's been re-tested and is negative.

Senator PAul says he is now volunteering at a local hospital to help patients, including some coronavirus patients.
