State COVID-19 positivity rate down to 7.73% on Wednesday, first time since November 2021

(LEX 18) — On Wednesday, Kentucky reported 2,334 new cases of COVID-19. The state's positvity rate has lowered down to 7.73%, this is the first time the positvity rate has reached this low since November 28, 2021.

Out of the 2,334 new cases reported, 585 are in the 18 and under age group.

Thirty-five new deaths have been recorded.

Currently, 865 people are hospitalized, 170 in ICUs and 87 people are on ventilators.
