The Kentucky Nurses Association and Lexington's Fit & Fierce Studio have teamed up to host an event aimed at promoting health and wellness among frontline workers. "As a nurse what you see is that you're so used to giving yourself to other people you're rarely taking time to give 100% to yourself, so in order to help other people be healthy it's really important that you yourself stay healthy," Arica Brandford, with KNA, said.
The event will feature several workout classes, massages, facials, and local, healthy food vendors. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at 210 Corral Street in Lexington. 
Social distancing, temperature checks and wearing a mask are requirements for those who attend.
