FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Governor Andy Beshear says the state's mask mandate will be extended for another 30 days in an effort to continue to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
"They are working," said Gov. Beshear. "To lift this mandate now would leave us vulnerable at a time that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and where we are headed for victory. We cannot let that happen."
The renewal takes place on February 1st at 5:00 p.m. for 30 days.
