(LEX 18) — There will soon be another layer of protection when you visit the gas pump at Thorntons locations.
The gas station chain is adding "grip-hero" hand protectors.
They are single-use gloves that are also biodegradable.
Thorntons hopes the protectors will allow drivers to limit contact at the pump, while also preventing the transfer of germs.
The new hand protectors are available at all locations nationwide.
