LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two inmates at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington have died from COVID-19.
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says both deaths were men in their 60s. It brings the total number of people who died from COVID-19 in Lexington to 12.
Overall, there are 532 confirmed cases in Fayette County, up 3 from Thursday. This includes 229 cases involving inmates at the Federal Medical Center.
